e-News John McDaniel brings Streisand Songbook to PianoDisc! Top selling artist has terrific new collection for your piano August 04, 2009 PianoDisc has just added another great disc by pianist John McDaniel to the Popular category: Artist Series: John McDaniel - Streisand Songbook (PD/CD 2016).  The new acoustic (piano-only) disc features songs made popular by the legendary singing star, Barbra Streisand. Among the titles are songs featured in her breakthrough movie, "Funny Girl": "People", "Don't Rain On My Parade", "Second Hand Rose" and "My Man".  Other songs from her films include "On A Clear Day", "The Way We Were", "Evergreen", "A Piece of Sky" and "The Way He Makes Me Feel".  Rounding out the list are "My Coloring Book", "Lazy Afternoon", "A Sleepin' Bee", "On My Way To You", "Autumn" and "He Touched Me".    McDaniel is a Grammy, Emmy and Tony award-winner who is best known for the six years he spent as the Musical Director and co-star of "The Rosie O'Donnell Show".
